JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), the type 1 diabetes charity, has announced that the Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to become its President for the next five years.
The Duchess recently visited a clinical research facility in Cambridge to learn about JDRF funded research, which aims to find the cure for the disease which affects 400,000 people in the UK.
